Adriana Lacy is an audience engagement editor at the Los Angeles Times. She is a recent graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she double majored in journalism and African American studies and earned a certificate in sports journalism.
Adriana is a writer, photographer and social strategist whose work includes the topics of race, sports, politics, as well as breaking news.

Adriana was the co-founder and the first editor in chief of The Underground, a student-media site at Penn State dedicated to diverse voices and news. During her time at Penn State, she has served as a campus editor at large with HuffPost, New York Times collegiate events coordinator, and an intern with Penn State Athletics and Roar Lions Roar. Before the L.A. Times, she worked as a senior news assistant at the New York Times.
