Adriana Lacy is an audience engagement editor at the Los Angeles Times and adjunct instructor in the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.
She is also the founder of journalism-internships.com, a website offering media opportunities, advice and mentoring for college students and recent graduates.
She is a recent graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she double majored in journalism and African American studies and earned a certificate in sports journalism.
Adriana is a writer, photographer and social strategist whose work includes the topics of race, sports, politics, as well as breaking news.

Adriana was the co-founder and the first editor in chief of The Underground, a student-media site at Penn State dedicated to diverse voices and news. During her time at Penn State, she has served as a campus editor at large with HuffPost, New York Times collegiate events coordinator, and an intern with Penn State Athletics and Roar Lions Roar. Before the L.A. Times, she worked as a senior news assistant at the New York Times.
